Texas Axeholes 1st Annual 9/11 Fundraiser

Description

We host this event to remember the 343 firefighters, 70 police officers, and 9 EMS personnel who tragically lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

1 Hour of Axe Throwing will be discounted to $20.01, $3.43 from every reservation will be donated towards the Roger William Dean III Memorial Scholarship.

For every bullseye made on 9/11, $1 will also be donated towards the Seguin Professional Firefighters L4122.

We will have a board posted to keep guests updated on funds raised throughout the day. We also will be accepting donations towards the cause.

We will also have Gordon's Grill set up outside from 2p-8p serving up all the deliciousness to keep you fueled to get those bullseyes!

About the Cause:
The Roger William Dean III Memorial Scholarship was created in honor of fallen Seguin Firefighter/Paramedic, Roger Dean. Firefighter/Paramedic Dean was exposed to COVID-19 during an EMS response in December 2020. He became ill, and his health quickly worsened. Dean tragically passed away on April 23, 2021 as a result of COVID-19 complication. The Roger William Dean III Memorial Scholarship was created in Rodger's honor to cover tuition for an individual to attend Fire and EMT school.
