Swing for Seguin: 2025 Leadership Seguin Golf Fundraising Event

It is our pleasure to invite you to join us as we celebrate Leadership Seguin 2025!

The Seguin Chamber of Commerce Leadership Seguin has formed and nurtured emerging community leaders for over 23 years through its year-long service program that enhances, promotes, and strengthens relationships within the community. Each year participants come together to learn about Seguin, identify particular community needs, and raise money to meet these needs, all the while fostering and developing the skills and relationships to serve our city.

This year, the Leadership Seguin Class of 2025 is dedicated to enhancing Manuel C. Castilla Park located at 2402 N. Guadalupe St. Seguin, TX 78155. This space serves as a vital hub for recreation, family gatherings, and youth sports. Our vision is to install a 30x40 picnic pavilion near a future playscape site that will replace the existing old playscape inside the walking track. The pavilion will feature a durable concrete foundation, rubber coated picnic tables, and an ADA-compliant charcoal grill. Additionally, we propose adding a Seguin Squirrel sculpture to continue the beloved Seguin Squirrel Trail at Manuel C. Castilla Park. This project will provide much-needed shade and comfort for families, coaches, and visitors who regularly use the park for youth sports and other activities. 

To help fund this initiative, Leadership Seguin will host the Swing for Seguin Golf Tournament at The Bandit Golf Course on Thursday, March 27, 2025. We invite you to be part of this exciting event by considering sponsorship/donation opportunities or registering a 4-person golf team for $500. This is a wonderful way to support a meaningful community project while enjoying a fun day on the course.

Leadership Seguin Class of 2025 

Starting Friday, February 7th, Leadership Seguin is launching a Zero-Turn Mower Raffle to help raise additional funds for the picnic pavilion project at Manuel C. Castilla Park. 400 tickets will be sold until all tickets are sold out! The live drawing will be held in front of a live audience during a future Seguin Chamber luncheon. The drawing will be announced on the Leadership Seguin Facebook once all tickets are sold.
