about 1 in 5 women of reproductive age with no prior births are unable
to get pregnant after one year of trying (CDC, n.d.) ,
about 1 in 4 women in this group have difficulty getting pregnant or
carrying a pregnancy to term (CDC, n.d.), and
that this happens more often in Black and Latina women when compared to
non-Hispanic White women? (Chandra, A., Copen C.E., Stephen E.H., 2013).
Did you know that Black women experience infant mortality (death) at a
rate that is 2.3 times more than non-Hispanic white women? (CDC, 2020)
