Description
You are invited to come to support your community and promote a greater understanding of poverty through CCSCT’s Community Action Month Poverty Simulation. During the simulation, participants role-play the lives of low-income families from single parents trying to care for their children to senior citizens trying to maintain their self-sufficiency on Social Security. We are so pleased that Dr. Amy Hart, Campus Executive & Assistant Director of Nursing-New Braunfels Campus, Texas Lutheran University, Department of Nursing will be leading the event. TLU faculty and staff will also be on hand from the Nursing Department.
The event is scheduled for May 29, 2024, at the Seguin Coliseum located at 950 S Austin St, Seguin, TX.
