Did you know that 4 out of 10 women in the Black, American Indian, or Alaskan Native communities have been victims of intimate partner violence in their lifetime? Did you know 1 out of 4 Latina/Hispanic women and 1 in 2 multi-racial women have experienced a form of domestic violence? Did you know that women of color are up to 50% more likely to experience domestic violence than other racial groups, but are more likely to not report it or seek help?
Please join us on Saturday, July 24th from 11 am – 12 pm CST. Dr. Phyllis Sharps will be providing information about resisting domestic violence. A Q&A session will be held directly after the speaker's presentation.
